This website provides general information only. Do not act or rely on it without appropriate individual review and advice.
1. About the website and application of the terms
The Afargan Accountants website is operated for the office of Shlomi Afargan, CPA (the “firm”). It presents the firm's activities and provides general information for reading. These terms govern use of the website and its content to the extent applicable under law. They do not replace an individual service agreement with the firm.
2. General information only—no advice on the website
All website information, including articles, questions and answers, cases, explanations, illustrations, tables, examples and links, is for general information. It is not tax, accounting, legal, financial, business or other advice; a professional opinion; or a personal recommendation to act or refrain from acting. Even detailed content or an answer to a particular case does not assess another user's circumstances.
3. Do not rely on the content alone
Do not rely on website information as the sole basis for a decision, tax calculation, expense classification, document issuance, report to an authority, hiring, dismissal or any other action. Before acting, obtain individual advice from an appropriately qualified professional after presenting all facts and documents and reviewing current law and guidance. Publishing content does not commit the firm to review a visitor's affairs or supervise their actions.
4. No client relationship or representation is created
Browsing, reading, downloading or making contact through a website link does not itself create an accountant–client relationship, representation before an authority, a commitment to provide treatment or a professional engagement. Services are provided after the firm agrees to accept the engagement and within the scope agreed with the client. The website does not imply that the firm provides legal services or other services outside the agreed scope.
5. Currency, accuracy and completeness
Tax legislation, case law, procedures, thresholds and deadlines may change. Content may be accurate only as of its writing, and a page update date does not necessarily mean every detail was rechecked. The firm seeks to provide useful information but does not guarantee that the website will always be complete, current, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. The binding law prevails over website explanations. If you identify an error, contact the firm for review.
6. Cases, examples and illustrations
Cases in “Clients ask” are presented without identifying details and sometimes reworded or generalized. They do not necessarily include every fact, document or consideration examined. Numerical examples and illustrative figures are not a tax calculation or forecast for a specific business. Illustrations and interface demonstrations are not binding screenshots, client data or promises of a result or feature in an actual system.
7. User responsibility
Reading, interpreting, drawing conclusions from and deciding to use the content are the user's responsibility, subject to law. Users must assess its suitability through appropriate advice, give professionals full and accurate information and fulfill their legal duties. A decision made without individual professional review does not become the firm's advice merely because website content was used. Do not present website content to a third party as the firm's individual approval, opinion or recommendation for them.
8. Limitation of liability subject to law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the firm is not liable for damage caused by reliance on general website information without individual advice, use inconsistent with the website's purpose, or application to circumstances the firm has not reviewed. Subject to law, this includes indirect and consequential damage, lost income or profit, lost opportunities, costs, penalties or charges arising from such use. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduce the firm's duties under law or a binding service agreement.
9. Digital services and website availability
The firm operates digitally only and does not receive visitors; meetings take place on Zoom, and in exceptional cases a visit to a client's business can be arranged. Website descriptions of services and tools are general; their actual scope is determined by the service agreement and business settings. The website may change or be unavailable for maintenance or due to faults. Subject to law, continuous availability or operation of every link or component on every device is not guaranteed.
10. Third-party links and systems
Links to authorities, social networks, WhatsApp and external systems are provided for convenience only. The firm does not control their content, security, availability or policies; a link is not approval of every detail or a personal recommendation to use their services. External services are subject to their own terms and policies. Do not send sensitive information through a channel that has not been agreed and approved for that purpose.
11. Copyright and intellectual property
Rights in original content, design, photographs, illustrations and other website materials belong to the firm and/or the appropriate rights holders, to the extent protected by law. Do not copy, distribute, republish, adapt, make publicly available or commercially use protected material or a substantial part without appropriate permission. Do not remove attribution or present material as your own. These terms do not restrict fair use, unprotected information or other use allowed by law. Rights in third-party sources, brands and marks belong to their owners.
12. Proper use, privacy and accessibility
Do not use the website to break the law, impersonate others, infringe rights, copy unlawfully, disrupt its operation or seek information not made public. Privacy and accessibility preference information is detailed in the privacy policy. Accessibility measures, testing limitations and contact options are detailed in the accessibility statement. These terms do not reduce privacy or accessibility rights.
13. Changes, governing law and reservation of rights
The firm may update content and terms from time to time, subject to law. Updates do not reduce accrued rights or an existing service agreement and may not be applied retroactively contrary to law. Israeli law governs website use; jurisdiction is determined by law. If a provision is invalid, the others remain applicable as far as possible. These terms do not waive nonwaivable rights or prevent an application to a competent court or tribunal.
14. Contact
For website questions, error reports, permission to use material or accessibility inquiries, contact Afargan at 050-4445049 or through WhatsApp. Do not send confidential documents or unnecessary personal information through a general inquiry; material for professional work should be transferred through agreed channels.
