A personal introduction

Before the numbers, we get to know the person and the business.

We start with a personal conversation on Zoom. The aim is to understand you, how your business works and what matters in your relationship with an accountant. There is room for your story, questions and small details.

  1. Get to know you

Tell us about your journey, what led you to start a business, what you enjoy about your work and what is on your mind today. We want to understand the person behind the activity.

  2. Understand the business

What do you sell or provide? Who are your customers? How do orders arrive? Are there employees, suppliers, partners or overseas activity? We discuss the nature and scale of the business.

  3. Listen to your previous experience

If you worked with another firm, we ask what went well and what was missing: communication, explanations, availability or document handling. You can also share concerns and expectations about a move.

  4. Map your working routine

How do you issue invoices, collect payments and organise expenses? Which systems do you use and what is the position of your files and reports? Even a small detail can help us see the picture.

  5. Define what you are looking for

What do you expect from your accountant, what would you like explained and how do you prefer to communicate? We summarise what we have learnt and what needs clarifying before agreeing the service.

A good conversation starts with listening. The more relevant information you share, the better we can understand your needs and propose a suitable service.
