Accounting support for VAT-exempt and VAT-registered businesses

A self-employed business needs attention even when you are busy serving customers and developing the activity. Organised accounting begins with the business type and relevant obligations, then continues with a routine for collecting documents and reviewing the figures throughout the year. Work with the firm is managed remotely through channels agreed at the start.

VAT-exempt business: review classification and obligations

Osek Patur is a VAT classification. It does not charge customers VAT or deduct input VAT. It does not automatically exempt the business from income tax. Suitability depends on turnover, occupation and current rules; some occupations cannot register as VAT-exempt.

VAT-registered business: a routine suited to the activity

An Osek Murshe follows the VAT reporting requirements that apply, and input VAT deductions are subject to conditions. We agree how to organise records and what is needed for reporting and questions during the year.

Micro-business income-tax track: assess it separately

Baal Esek Zair is an income-tax track. Both VAT-exempt and VAT-registered businesses may qualify, subject to conditions. We review business records, eligibility and suitability for your activity.

What support may include

  • Bookkeeping and organising accounting records according to the business activity.
  • Ongoing reporting and VAT matters according to classification and applicable requirements.
  • Preparing for and completing an annual tax return where filing is required within the agreed service.
  • Examining tax questions arising during the activity, based on the records and circumstances.
  • Explaining business figures and identifying matters requiring further review.

Activity changes? So do the questions

A new field of activity, a significant purchase or a change in payment terms may affect your routine. Where possible, tell us before deciding, so we can identify missing information and matters needing attention.

At the start, we define what is included in ongoing support, how you will share records and which assignments need a separate proposal. This helps you compare services based on the scope that suits you.

Questions and answers

Are VAT exemption and the micro-business track the same?

They are different classifications: Osek Patur concerns VAT, while Baal Esek Zair is an income-tax track. A VAT-registered business may also qualify for the micro-business track, subject to conditions. Eligibility and individual suitability must be assessed separately.

Is the annual return included in the fee?

This is set out in the service proposal. Check in advance whether the price includes an annual return, work on earlier years and additional assignments. The proposal is tailored to the needs discussed.

Should I enquire while my business is still small?

Yes. The need for support depends on the activity and relevant obligations. We discuss the work required and a suitable scope for your circumstances.

What if some records have not been processed?

Mention this at the start. We clarify what is missing, the period involved and any outstanding authority enquiries. After reviewing the records, we can define the possible work and scope.
